ERA, a platform for managing engineering standards, requirements, and compliance

At Ezz Medical, I led the front-end rebuild of ERA, an Engineering Requirements Application used by more than 200 employees.

ERA helps teams turn standards documents into structured clauses and requirements, review them, and allocate them to engineering projects. Users can record applicability decisions and supporting rationale, link compliance evidence, and track progress through review and approval workflows.

I built interfaces for navigating and filtering clause trees, editing requirements, managing access rights, and reviewing project status. The application included undo and redo for editing, reusable evidence records, and project and standards logs.

The rebuild reduced page-load times by 46% and build size by 72%. I also added compliance modules to the C# and .NET Core API, contributing to a 25% reduction in audit-preparation time. These are software and operational outcomes.
